<p />A few days back, Car Wash Mike asked if I was still doing Jerky. Since it has been a few weeks, I decided to do a new batch - 4.5 lbs of Brisket thinly sliced on the BGE at 5am. [p]CWM indicated that he substituted Teraki for the Soy in the River City Recipe so I gave it a try. From the early samples, looks like a winner. I used a combination of Teraki and a Teraki glaze - marinated since yesterday at 11am.[p]Life is Good :~}

    Gfw,[p]Beautiful. I did a batch a few weeks ago, using one of your River City variations. It won me big points with the new boss, who's sampled lots of jerky and said this was the best he'd ever tasted. [p]Thanks again, o jerky guru![p]Cathy[p]

    Cat, thanks. Great part about any recipe is that there are as many variations as there are tastes - I don't think I'll ever find just the perfect recipe, but I'm having a lot of fun in the attempt. [p]

    Gfw, You are the one that needs thanks. I had to cook ribs as soon as I bought my BGE but River City Beef Jerky was the next cook. Good jerky and good company.[p]CWM
