Just finished with a batch of smoked sea scallops that i captured in the channel islands on the opening of lobster season. stabilized the grill temp at 225' popped on a little jack daniels & alder wood chips. took the frozen scallops right out of the freezer and placed them delicatley on the grill over a drip pan. after about an 1/2 hr. squezzed a little lemon and sprinkled a little garlic powder on for good measure. after 4 hrs. pulled the little jewels from the ocean off and proceeded to relish just how good life really can be....... if you haven't tried smoking scallops there is still hope you but.......ken :woohoo:
