I went to bed early last night because I knew I would wake up early this morning with total anticapation about my new BGE arriving at 8:30. I woke up at 5:30 (1-1/2 earlier than normal) didn't want to be alone so I let the dogs in the bedroom. As they jumped around on the bed, they woke the wife up. Hey I didn't do it the dogs did.....She was ok with it this time becasue she knew I was excited. They will (better be) here in 11 mins.
Cornish game hens for my first cook. Think I will use a receipe out of Smoke & Spice. Maybe the Tequila one.
Can someone tell me how to add pictures to the posts? [p]Marv

Marv,[p]Great news. I'd love to join you for lunch today.[p]To add pictures, you first need to get the picture someplace online, so that it can be added via URL. This forum doesn't save copies of the pictures (ie, you can't upload them from your PC onto the forum), so they need to be someplace else, but publicly viewable.[p]Once that is done, you can use the image URL link below and your picture will appear.[p]Alternately, you could embed the HTML tag "img" within the text of your posting and that too would expose your picture. I've been doing that lately, to control where the picutre is, but unless you want to post more than one picture it isn't necessary.[p]Enjoy![p]--sdb

<p />Marv,[p]if you go to www.auctionsaloon.com, then go to image hosting, then register. This is pretty much an auction hosting site, but it's free and give you 10 pictures to upload. I use it and seems to work fine. After a few day's I'll delete the older photos and upload new ones. When you view the photos you have uploaded, cut the address, and post it into the Image URL space at the bottom of the "post" page. Let's see it it works for me again...this is a done spatchcocked chicken at Foxboro stadium

  • Marv,
I have to admit to noticing your email address, then following up a bit. I'm envious of your biz![p]It's quite an endorsement to see your anticipation of the Egg's arrival considering what you haul behind your truck![p]Anyway, welcome to Eggdome Marv, you're gonna love it![p]The Egg's especially great for us NorthWesterners, since they say that if you can't do it in the rain, you shouldn't try to do it here. I've certainly proven the egg's performance in the rain sleet and snow here.[p]Feel free to send me some email if you need some specifc image posting or hosting questions answered.[p]Good Cookin',

  • Smokin' Todd,
One of my older Bro's has season tickets starting next year!! Imagine that!! Get 4 Eggs going in one area, bring a money box and change and we'd shut the vendors down!! The best part is giving samples away. There were only 2 of us but we cooked for more like 8!!
