Hey all,[p]I was at Wal Mart this weekend and to my HUGE surprise they had a load of late dated Pork Tenderloins on sale. They were on SALE and then they were late dated (additional 35% off) so they were practically GIVING them away. I bought everything they had, 9 of them, and paid $1.27 a pound for PORK TENDERLOINS. Man, what a score.[p]Last night saw one of them hit the egg with just a simple rub then wrapped in bacon with some rosemary sprigs shoved lengthwise through the loin. Believe it or not the Rosemary plant still had some good sprigs here, its just not gotten cold enough to make it dormant yet but its close. Cooked the tenderloin direct at about 325 till it was done and ate it with some big baked potatoes. Great meal and plenty more where that came from. AND, I did the first snowy cook of the season this weekend, we got about 2 inches here in S. IL and the egg performed flawlessly, I expected nothing less. Hope everyone had a great weekend.[p]Troy

    sprinter,
Yep, at that price, I'd gloat too!
While I didn't get any at that price, I did have some in the freezer and did them on the Egg last night. For some reason, I think that's the first one's I've done on the egg. Probably had the egg too hot at 350 since it took a little less than 30 mins to cook...but talk about tasty and tender and moist! Just wish the son didn't eat so much! No leftovers!

Shelby,[p]I dont think your times are off that much at all. At 325 to 350 thats about as long as it takes to cook a tenderloin. They are so small and lean they take to real time at all. Love the flavor also and they can be done in a million and one ways in that they pickup marinades and rubs real well.[p]Troy
