Ever since I've been reading how people like to do their steaks on a mini, I've been very interested in getting one to go along with my large. 90% of the time, I'll just be wanting to cook two steaks for the wife and I. [p]But there aren't any pics of the mini at BGE. If someone please post some pics of the mini, and what all goes with it, I'd appreciate it very much. I've been doing a search of the archives for mini pics, but I haven't figured out how to do multiple word searches on this site.

<p />DavidR,[p]Here's a picture of my Mini. I fabricated a slide top for it since they do not make a slide/daisy for the Mini. Some people use the slide/daisy from the small with some heavy felt spacers.[p]I really like the mini for chops, bs breasts, steaks, brats, burgers etc. I even have a small drip pan with a rack that I do small roasts indirect on.[p]Carl T

    Carl T,
Is that a large and a small in the custom build cart?
I've been thinking of doing the same thing. However. I store them in my garage and space is a concern, especially width.
How long and wide is the cart?
    Thanks,
    B D

Chef Arnoldi,[p]The "table" for the Mini is really a plant stand from Home Depot. ($24.00) A 12x12 piece of ceramic flooring fits nicely in the square top of the stand. Since this picture, I replaced this thin piece of ceramic with a nicer, dark green piece of 1/2 inch thick marble (also from Home Depot for $8.00).[p]Carl T[p]

Big Daddy,[p]Yes, they are a Large and Small in a table (no wheels). Since this photo, I removed the Small egg from the table and put it in a nest. I use the Small for most of my meals and I like to wheel it over to the patio table where I can tend the cook while sitting in a chair at the table where the liquid refreshments are handy. I filled in the hole in the table where the Small use to be with new cedar and regained my table space.[p]Carl T
