starting the fire/elder wards pulled pork

i'm using my large bge. for the first time to slow cook a pork shoulder. in elder wards instructions i can't visualize how he starts the fire. i have the lump jigsawed even and am wondering what to do to? can anyone help?

tom,[p]Just lite it on top of the lump. Make sure the firebox is full - upto the firering.[p]Disregard the recipe's suggestion of cooking at 200 deg and use 225-250 deg. It will cook a little less but 200 is very very hard to hold over night - the fires go out too easily.[p]Good luck - have fun[p]Tim
