Has any one used nails in baked potatoes(aluminum)?Wonder how it changes cook time.

Nails? I take it you insert them into the potato to get the heat in quicker? Reverse heat sink.

Jim:[p]Yes, years ago . . .[p]Here is something for you to try: Brush your bakers with olive oil and season with Lawry's or another seasoning salt. Bake in a preheated ceramic cooker at 350º for one hour. Serve as you would bakers cooked in the oven.

Oh, as for the nails, I think they just insure the baker is completely cooked on the interior. I never noticed much difference in the length of the cook.
