Still working on my turkey plan Ü

The plan:
Prepare stove top dressing, stuff into turkey and truss,coat skin with olive oil, cook over drip pan on inverted plate setter @325° until 175 breast.
Will add some chopped walnuts to the dressing, will anything else help.
(no garlic please, onion is an option) apple slices maybe?????[p]Thanks to all for the help,

New Bob,[p]I'd shoot for a 165* breast if I were you. 175* and you run the risk of drying it out. I'm cooking a turducken tomorrow, and it specifies between 160* and 165*.

you may want to cover the breast od teh bird with foil..it always seems to dry out faster than the rest of the bird..maybe halfway into the cook.[p] good luck ad let us know how it turns out!
