O.T.Homemade sauces with pomegranate juice
I have a pomegranate bush that is loaded this year and plan to juice most of them.I have seen mention of sauces like pomegranate chipotle and would like to try something like this.
I am a real low tech redneck and for me a computer search means trying to find the next letter on the key board to create a message so I haven't been able to find anything.
Thanks
Jim

Jim Nelson,[p]Here's one from the BBQ Guru site. I used this one on ribs last week and it was a big hit with the family.[p]BBQ Bob's Pomegranate Maple Rib Glaze[p]1 cup Pomegranate juice ( POM brand 100% juice)
1 cup good quality maple syrup
1/2 cup BBQ sauce ( I use my own Cranberry Jack BBQ sauce)
1 tbsp. real butter[p]Place ingredients into a sauce pan or skillet. Heat until butter melts and glaze thickens slightly.
Brush this on your ribs just before serving. You will not believe what a wonderful flavor this adds to your BBQ ribs![p]BBQ Bob

Jim Nelson,[p]Pomagranite juice is also nice in mop liquid. I've used it several times along with cider vinegar/apple juice mix. It tasted fine with the rub spices, and even added a bonus red tint.[p]gdenby
