<p />James Withem,[p]Beef ribs rock. I put these ones on at 1 am, sauced at 6:30 am, and consumed them for lunch at work at noon.[p]Ottawa_egger
  • Ottawa_egger, what do you have setting on your regular grill that elevates the cast iron grill higher than the gasket? Maybe I am looking at the pic wrong.

My appestat meter just pegged! 8 - ) Any tips on rubs or sauces? To me, there's nothing better than reheating leftover ribs from a standing roast and then gnawing on them like a famished dog![p]Rascal

  • Bob In Texas, a.k.a. Bob Hunt,[p]It's a cheap ceramic dish I bought at the dollar store for...well, a dollar. It acts as both a heat barrier and a drip pan. I bought it when I entered my girls is a amateur rib cook-off. I wasn't into lugging my large to the fair grounds and my girls wanted to cook on the mini, so it was a good match. Below is the pre-rain picture of the girls feeding their faces with strawberries. The funniest thing was the torrential downpour in the afternoon that sent everyone scurrying for the cover of their vehicles while my two girls just sat their under their umbrella tending to their ribs.[p]Ottawa_egger[p]
