Anyone have a good venison steak recipe?

We are doing that tomorrow night..Finally I am asking in advance rather than last minute.[p]we also have two huge zuchinni's and some broccoli we should move out.

    This works great if the meat is kinda gamey. Soak overnight in 2/3 burgandy wine and 1/3 buttermilk. Add garlic, oregano and black pepper to taste. Day of the cook-remove the meat from the marinade, season w/ salt and pepper. cook to taste. slice zuchini lengthwise, lightly oil and season w/ canadian staek seasonings. I also like to get some mushrooms,saute in butter, and add burgandy wine & seasonings, and put that over the steak when it's finished. Really good!

  • Oh man that sounds good. I don't have buttermilk but I have kefir. That should work and I don't have wine but I have balsamic vinegar. Otherwise I have shitake mushrooms and lots of butter. I am not sure I have that canadian seasoning as dh bought a bunch at our eggfest but we have oodles of spices. Thank you!
