Beef Tri Tips and Hanger Steak

Hello,[p]I tried to buy a hanger steak here in Atlanta and the butcher at Publix said he did not have them and could not get them. He told me that the cut was primarily a northeastern cut. Anyone in Atlanta know where to find them? [p]I've almost always cooked beef filets when cooking steak but after reading this forum a little decided to branch out. The primary reason I buy the filets is that I've never really liked dealing with all the fat and gristle in the other cuts. The forum posts led me to believe that I'm missing out on flavor. The Publix guy recommended a chuck eye steak. I tried it and it was really pretty good and the price was right. The butcher told me that before this cut became popular it was available for $1.99/lb. I paid $5.49. This afternoon I was a Costco and saw the tri tips so I decided to give them a try too. If anyone has a good recipe I'd appreciate it. I saw the one below for smoked tri tips and may try that one. I've also tried flank, skirt and flat iron before but usually as fajitas. I cooked the flat iron quickly over high heat and it was moist and very tasty.[p]Thanks,
Mike
