<p />As is to be expected in the Great Northwest, it's been pouring down rain all day. That's not gonna stop me or humpty from a delicious T-Day![p]Now to be fair, the Big Green Eggbrella is a trademark of Big Gr-Egg down the street. Check out his link for more...

  • bc,[p]Yeah, I've been braving the rain in Kirkland, WA all morning. unfortunately I don't have an umbrella, but even though I'm a little damp I'm really excited about eating the bird! [p]I love Thanksgiving[p]-Skooter
  • Skooter,[p]Hey, you're right across the valley from us! We're perched up on the Sammamish Plateau. (From an earlier post, I also noticed that your web proxy at work matches mine...<g>)[p]So, the bird just came off the grill and headed for the cooler JUST as the rain stopped...[p]I've egge'd in all the weather this area has to offer. It's worth it for not only the flavor, but that incredulous look you get from the wife when you come in from the deck completely drenched and clutching a true culinary masterpiece![p]Happy T-day,
    bc

  • I had hubby put hole in table for my umbrella.

bc, pretty pix and all! While we had a gorgeous day here in central Illinois I know what you mean about downpours. What I did thanks to Char-Woody who no longer posts here was to purchase an inexpensive galvanized metal roof top stack pipe dome (cover) at Menard's. Even in the monsoon season that keeps humpty's breather cap covered including the daisy. One word of caution though...even in a down pour that cap gets and stays H O T !
