JJ:[p]Was looking for a different way to cook up a batch of BB ribs this weekend and decided to give your mustard coating a shot. I had my doubts since I'm not a mustard fan but went ahead (You say the cheaper the mustard the better? How about 50 cents for 1 lb?). I deviated somewhat from your recipe by using my own favorite rub. Cooked 'em indirect at 325° for about 3 1/2 hours. They were fantastic! Possibly the best I've ever cooked/eaten.[p]Never would've thought to coat ribs in mustard.....[p]Kelly Keefe

Kelly Keefe,[p]Glad to read that you've "discovered" mustard on ribs. I was quite skeptical when I first came across it many years ago. I don't know if its the home of mustard-based pork bbq and ribs but the fine inhabitants of the State of South Carolina sure cook a bunch of it.[p]Maybe our resident SC native Wise One will expound on the origins of mustard and Q. Oh Bill? :)[p]Puj[p]
