squid like butter...
egg at 700* didn't turn out to be as scary in reality as it was in my head...
somehow really oversalted the dish...but every bit got eatten...
and that squid was a tender as any i've eaten...

Some soy and hoisin sauces have more salt than others. Adjust to your situation. Glad it came out for you. They really can be suprisingly tender. I will do some next week.
