My friend dropped the ring from my large egg yesterday. Can I cook with the pieces assembled over the fire box while I search for a deal on a replacement?

jrpfeff,
the ring doesn't experience raw temps like the firebox does. i'd bet you could put it back together with a little furnace cement.[p]though it's not necessary if it works simply dry-fitted back together

jrpfeff,[p]Just put it back together with furnace cement or JB Weld. BGE recommended JW Weld when I called the home office with a similar question.
