Bought a boneless leg of lamb yesterday at Costco. I would like to cook it tommorrow for dinner. Does anyone have a recipe they would like to suggest?
Thanks in advance.

JC in GA,[p] Just took one off my egg. All I did was coat it with a light coat of EVOO and a generous amount of Dizzy Pig's Red Eye Express. Cooked it at 350 indirect till it was 130 internal. It's sitting now waiting one me slicing it.[p] Course this assumes you have Red Eye Express. [p]

Celtic Wolf,I planning a small 4 pound bone in leg of lamb roast tomorrow, about how long in time at that temp?
-
Dan,[p]Mine was boneless, but it took about 2 hours

Celtic Wolf,[p]I've never done lamb on my egg. Typically, it has had a little gamey taste to me, when done in the oven. Does cooking it on the egg lessen that taste? Do you use any smoke? TIA

DynaGreaseball,[p] Lamb on the egg is marvelous.. Sometimes I use Pecan sometimes I don't.[p] I also get my lamb at costco. The lamb there seems to be less gamey.[p]

Celtic Wolf,[p]Thanks...can't wait.[p]

JC in GA,[p]Try this one. It works with a boned leg just as well as with a boned shoulder.[p]Enjoy![p]DD[p][p]

DynaGreaseball,
i hate to sound like a wise *ss, but the "gamey" taste of something is usually what that thing tastes like.[p]most folks will compare everything to chicken and beef. usually, they are disappointed when it tastes "like chicken". but when it doesn't, they'll say it tastes "gamey".[p]lamb tastes like lamb. just eat it more often, and you'll grow to love it![p]though, cooking it on the egg does elevate it, so if you like it, and your wife does too, wink and credit the egg.
