Prime Rib time & temp?

Looking for guidance on doing a prime rib. I did once last Xmas that came out great, but don't remember how we did it??? Thanks in advance for the input.

Bubba Smith,[p]Check the way your wife used to do it in the oven and use that as a baseline. Figure on adjustments based on your instant thermometer.

[p]I really think a key is not putting a "cold" prime rib in the egg. Take it out of the fridge a few hrs before and let it warm to room temp. It makes a difference.
