BGE dealers
I am a newbie and just extatic with my large Egg.My only problem is trying to find a dealer within a reasonable distance of my home in Southern Ca.I checked the locator on the web site and it says no,Ithen e-mailed BGE but got no response.I just can't believe that there is not a dealer around here as we are well within 250 mi. of L.A.,and San Diego. So far I have ordered from TheBBQ Guys but it takes at least a week and freight really eats you up,though the Egg was free shipping.[p] Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Jim

Jim Nelson,
I know there are dealers in LA because a guy on history forum I frequent got one there. His wife expressed his desire for an Egg and I sent her a list of dealers based on their zip code. He loves his Egg too. Can't get him to drive up to SF for the fest there though.[p]H

Jim Nelson,[p]From what I can tell the BGE site is pretty bad at keeping dealers listed, sad but true.[p]You have to have several dealers in your area. Call BGE and ask them for a list.[p]I am sure some will jump in and let you know how to contact them. (hopefully).[p]You will love the egg and it is an amazing way to cook almost anything.[p]Good hunting, Kent

I bought two Eggs from Backyard Outfitters, even saw Ray there.[p]And I bought another one in Woodlands Hills, but I think that name has been changed.

Thanks to every one this is really a great site.I am a really low tech red neck and all my searches failed but through your responses I found a BBQ Galore 6 miles from me and Backyard Outfitters about 30 miles away. Thanks again, now I have to go fix dinner on the Egg.Boy I love this thing.

Jim Nelson,[p]"really low tech red neck", hmmm, that ain't so bad. Now a "really high tech red neck", that sound like it could be a bit of an oxy-mormon. lol[p]Unless things have changed, Barbeques Galore didn't seem to have a whole lot of Egg stuff, Backyard is pretty good.
