Small Egg and Camping

I bought a new pop up camper this week and was thinking of eventually getting a smaller egg to take camping. [p]Good idea? Not sure.[p]Is the small egg to small for such a task or just the right size?[p]Thanks

<p />Tomf,[p]We take trips to Lake of the Ozarks many times a year. Our Small egg always gets to go along. While we stay in a cabin and not a pop up, it's really the same thing. Being able to enjoy egg food on vacation is a treat. I can cook for 4 on the Small with no problem.[p]Carl T

The small egg is awesome for camping. So is the large if you have room. Whatever you do, bring the cookers camping.

TomF,[p]I paid $250.00 for mine. If you area considering a Small egg, I highly recommend one. I use the Small for most meals and save my Large egg for overnight cooks and larger quantities. The Small is perfect for myself, wife and 17 year old son. It is very versatile.[p]Carl T

Now that's what I call camping. We used to hit a wilderness campsite in the White Mountains every February for 3 days. Eight or ten guys, one full cord of firewood, 4 or 5 ski-mobiles, 30-30 packs, and a tow-rope and ski's behind a Bronco. Twas long before my Eggin day's though, but we still ate good with an old Brinkman and a couple of old refridgerator grates rigged up over the firepit.
