Marvelous,[p]You can purchase a 'grid extender' from BGE, which is a GRID with legs. You can also purchase a variety of grids, purchase some bolts, nuts, washers to create a grid that sits over the primary grid. Some use this for additional cooking space, or provide each access to a drip pan.
  • Marvelous,
Raised grids ... this typically means use of BGE's "Grid Extender" ..

Marvelous, A raised grid is just that.... a grid above the fire ring. It can be one grid or multiple grids. It can be a direct or indirect set-up. [p]There are several ways to raise the grid: nuts/bolts, firebricks, metal braces, platesetter or rings. How you accomplish a raised set-up is open to your imagination, the way you cook and what your're cooking.[p]Tom
