Elder Wards version of "I fought the slaw and the slaw won" recipe. I want to know if your suppose to wait until the the sauce mixture cools before pouring over cabbage mixture or while it is still hot?

i think it needs to be hot to disolve all that sugar, that slaw is a little on the sweet side for me.
