I've had my large BGE for about a month now. In addition to trying out baby-backs, beer-butt chicken, pizza, and pork tenderloin, I've done some frying with a cast iron skillet. First it was fried green tomatoes, today it was thick sliced bacon and pancakes. On a cool Fall day, it was like going camping to cook breakfast outside on my Egg. The cooking temp was perfect with the bottom vent barely open and, of course, the dome up. The cast iron makes for even heat with no burning. A few wood chips on the glowing coals made the eggsperience complete!
