Advice on placement of the butt

Morning Harris Buck:[p]Indirect is definitely the way to go with butts. The direct heat even at a low temp of 200 - 250 would probably not be good on one side.[p]Here is a pic of the four butts I put on last night at 11:15am, pic taken at about 8:30am this morning (9 hours in).[p]

Thanks for the advice. I have a question about your drip pan.....do you actually have 3 layers of grid in that pic? Are you placing your drip pan on a grid by itself just above the coal?[p]Thanks.....this is new to me.
