HELP! I NEED TO KNOW THE BEST WAY TO GRILL OR SMOKE (ON THE EGG, OF COURSE) 10 ROCK CORNISH GAME HENS FOR TOMORROW! AND HOW LONG TO COOK THEM? THEY ARE REALLY SMALL! ANY SUGGESTIONS!
P.S. I LIKE ALL NATURAL WITH NO SALT, ONLY HERBS.

I put mine on upright racks. I got the racks years ago from Tyson.
If you don't have any of those available I would suggest to try and spatchcocking them. I would cook them at 350 direct and check them after 30 minutes. The directions on the package said to lay them breast up and cook at 350 for about an hour.

MARIA, I spatchcocked a few today. Really easy to prepare (check it out on the Naked Whiz site). At 300 they cook in about an hour or so. I spray them with a little olive oil towards the end. Good luck![p]Rascal

stuff em with rosemary, lemon, and apple slices,
smoke with cherry or apple chips at 275-295 dome till at least 180 in the thigh. depending on their size, about 2-3 hours roughly.[p]bump up the temp to 350-375 near the end to crisp up the skin some[p]

Whoa, those look great. Have you ever done 9 or 10 at once? If so, how would you arrange them and do you need to vary the time/temp for so many birds? Thinking of Christmas dinner...
