Morning All:[p]Just finished getting tonight's dinner going. A small (6.08#) brisket flat. Should easily be done for dinner. Prepped it yesterday using a rub of DP Raisin' the Steaks, DP Cow Lick and Turbinado Sugar (pretty much equal parts). Then squeezed it into a food saver bag and let set in the fridge overnight. The Guru is set at about 235 and puffing along nicely.[p]Stopped in Sam's Club yesterday just to check out the meat department and found pork butts on sale for $1.66 per pound. I grabbed the four largest ones I could dig out. They were 7.36, 7.56, 7.96 and 9.04 pounds. I had planned on doing a large batch of pulled pork in a few weeks, but now I'm thinking of putting them on Sunday evening and having a pulled pork party on Monday. Anyone want to come over and help pull???[p]Have a GREAT day!

Pork Butt Mike,
The butt that is on the right side of the grill has his mouth open, and if you look up a little the lighter color above the lip looks like a nose. How did you do that?

Darnoc,
LOL>>>>Did not mean to do that it's just the way it came out. Good Point. [p]Pork Butt Mike

Metalhead,[p]Pretty standard price here in the Atlanta area is $1.39/lb.[p]If I could get them for under a buck a pound I would fill the freezer.

Fidel,
I know you probably don't frequent the local Wayfield's....but I live here in the ghetto and
the price I pay is .99 a llb and I only have a side
by side so not too much freezer room. I usually buy 2 at a time. Of course I am on a budget so I only get to buy them while they are on sale.[p]Jan
