Egg and fatty take 2nd

I thought I would pass along some props to this forum. Over the weekend I cooked in the Paola Kansas Roots Festival BBQ competition. While overall we were pretty average (30th of 70 teams) my sausage was a hit. My egg did its magic on some loose Italian sausage doctored with my favorite rub and rolled fatty style. My team mates and group of tasters had never seen anything like it and the judges loved it. I finished 2nd and was just over a point shy of taking the $650 winner take all purse :( I have to thank this forums contributors for the recipe. I probably wouldn’t have even entered the category if it weren’t for learning how to cook a fatty here… Thanks. Ed[p]Sorry no pics?
