Use seasoned or green hickory?
Purchased my first large BGE a week ago, should I use seasoned hickory or green hickory when smoking?? Will the green hickory cause any problems to the BGE??

Green wood can be extremely strong. Hickory is already fairly potent. I would season it first, or use it VERY sparingly.
