Posted yesterday about the Dutch Oven I was given. As I was looking at it today I noticed that the lid and the base are both stamped with the number 12 on them. Does this indicate that it is a twelve quart Dutch Oven?[p]It is approximately 5" deep and 10" across.[p]Thanx,
Jethro

Jethro:[p]A #12 with those approximate dimensions is either a eight or nine quart Dutch oven.

Jethro,
I think you are closer to 4 qts. Just fill it up and measure it:-) Does it have legs, or a flat bottom?

Rak,[p]It has legs, but I did not include them in my measurements.[p]Jethro

Jethro,
You should be able to find the one you have on this page.
