BGE and Tim McGraw
Well I just ordered my BGE 3 days ago and it should be arriving in the next few days.
I have been working at a Country Music Festival here in Merritt B.C. Canada for the past 14 years doing stage set up for all the bands (including Johnny Cash, Brooks and Dunn, Vince Gill, The Dixie Chicks etc... and 3 years ago I was setting up the stage for Tim McGraw. While unloading one of his 4 semi-trailers, we rolled out a couple of road cases that were pretty heavy. We took them to the bottom of the ramp to the stage and when the road crew opened them up, low-and-behold there before me was a BGE! Well the road crew swore up and down that this was the best damn smoker-grill they'd ever seen. We cooked up some burgers on them and I'll never forget them! Well I had no idea what they were called and had no idea where to get one but last week I saw a sign at a hot-tub dealer near my home in Nelson B.C. Canada for the "Big Green Egg". I thought, 'this must be one of those Grills!' I went in and saw one and ordered a Large BGE on the spot. I've been reading the forum for the past few days thinking of what I'm going to be cooking in the next week! I must say I never thought I'd be writing on a forum about a BBQ-Grill. This is quite the group of people that have all the same thing in mind - - - Great Food! I'm really egg-cited (I know..... I've even got the lingo down!) about my new puchase and you'll probably be hearing me asking questions soon.
Cheers

BC/DC,
Another group that played that venue a little while back are also huge fans of the EGG. The Indigo Girls. Their Guitar tech is a good friend of mine and she loves the food off the EGG.[p]There are quite a few big name musicians who have EGGs but they are all not "out of the closet" about it so to speak.[p]It's very cool.

BC/DC,
Was through Nelson last week; camping at Kokanee Creek with our small BGE. Couple weeks earlier, we could have had our own "eggfest" at the campground!
