First Pork Shoulder Cook

I have an 15 1/2 lb rok shoulder that want to cook for a party this saturdat afternoon. My question is should I cut the shoudler into two pieces to cook it? By cutting in in half would it be ready in about 15 hours?

Is this a whole shoulder or is it in a cryovac pack that could possibly be two butts? Where did you get it? -RP

I Purchased it from Costco.

Costco sells boneless butts, two to the package. They shouldn't take any more than 15 hours. -RP
