Vogs

I am fairly new to the BGE and am looking for some advice. I am planning on cooking some New York Strip steaks tomorrow night. Any suggested recipes or cook times? [p]Thanks[p]Karl

Vogs,
Coat em on both sides with Montreal Steak Seasoning. Heat the egg to 700-750 and put em on direct for 3-4 minutes a side and shut the egg down and let her dwell till correct internal temperature in the steaks. For 1 1/4 inch thick steaks it's usually about 10 minutes total time for rare to medium rare.

Big Daddy,[p]I second these seasoning and temp suggestions. Montreal Steak Seasoning is my favorite thing for steaks, and cooking at blazing temps is my preferred method. Good luck! You'll do fine![p]Later,
Cornfed
