    Gretl,
I also looked at the pizza stone, but I wouldn't think it would stand up as well as a good pizza stone. Karen from Tufty emailed me, and said that the ceramic is fired at 1900, but is designed for use in a 500 degree oven. She also reminded me that it is not fireware, and cannot take too much thermal shock from direct fire. I guess it would work fine stacked over another pizza stone. Who knows. I am curious to see how her products work.[p]Hopefully I will have the oval roaster to test in a week or so.[p]Aint life grand.

    Nature Boy,
You betcha. I was smiling last night thinking about that heated thread a little while back that began with the bge dealer who just didn't understand what the "big deal" is. This is just TOO much fun.[p]I'll hold back on the Tufty pizza pan; I know there's something around that's better than what I have which came from WalMart and really is only about 1/4 inch thick and 12 inches in diameter. I'm sort of thinking that if I get a plate setter, my pizza stone would be okay to use on top. I hope the plate setter and other eggcessory goodies are available at the EggFest. I fear that my Visa card's in grave danger. Again.[p]G.
