Picked up my Large Egg and got it all together with no problems. Cooked on it for the first time tonight and man is it great. Temperature regulation was a snap and had no problems. I'm just waiting for my local dealer to get some Plate Setters in so I can do some indirect cooking.
Anyways, I have a question about the Dual Metal Function Top. Is it suppose to stay in place and stay at the position you have it set at or is it suppose to slide all the way open when the lid is lifted. Mine slid all the way open when the lid is lifted. I didn't want to crank down on the screw if that is the way it is suppose to be. Thanks in advance.
Cooked some Chicken Sausages and boneless breast tonight and man were they juicy. I can't wait to get nine more cooks out of the way so I can make this beast throw the heat.
