Morning All:[p]We didn't get home this evening until about 8:00pm and hadn't thought about what to eat. The much better half (EggHatter) said that she had some leftover jumbo pasta shells from a dish she did late last week, plus some of the chicken from Sunday. First sprayed the casserole dish with Pam, filled it with the shells, topped this with cut up chicken, then put a jar of Alfredo sauce and this topped with shredded mozzarella. Got the Egg steady at about 350 with a platesetter (feet down). I put the casserole dish on four copper elbows to get some air flow under it.[p]Here is the finished product after about 25 minutes in the Egg.[p]P7100002.jpg[p]Turned out to be quite tasty with just a hint of smoke flavoring.[p]P7100004.jpg[p]Just may have to do this one again sometime (whenever we have some pasta already cooked and waiting for some flavoring).[p]Have a GREAT day!

SSN686,[p]How did you get the top to brown like that? I tried beef stew on the egg, this past Sunday, and it was great except that I wanted the top to brown like it would in the oven. The sides of the dutch oven were brown, but I was trying to figure out how to brown the top.[p]It tasted great, but I was wondering how to get the best of both worlds...[p]Thanks...

Morning AnnaG:[p]Luck would be my best guess. The was at about 350 to 375 the whole time. Since everything was already cooked all we were doing was heating everything up and to melt the cheese. I checked it at 20 minutes and the cheese had not browned at all so I let it go another 5 minutes and this is what we got. HTH[p]Have a GREAT day!
