skin up or down? Picnic Shoulder

Bought a picnic shoulder for tomorrow and have the egg currently stabilizing now.
I have scored the skin and rubbed it. Even made a paste of the rub and some olive oil to make it get down into the slices in the skin really well.
It's about 6.5 pounds and I figure if I get it on by 10 o'clock (a half hour), it should be good and ready by lunch tomorrow.
My question is whether to put it on the V-rack skin side up or down. I hadn't thought about this yet. Hmmmmm.
