RRP just won the Great Steak Grill Off in Morton, Illinois! That's two years in a row! For his efforts he got a nice trophy (that he needs to return next year), a new large egg (his 5th egg I hear), and a check. Does that make him a professional now?[p]There were approximately 9 teams and RRP was the only individual entry. He used the Trex method with medium and small eggs. All contestants used rib eyes. I may be biased, but I think his had the best appearance, texture and flavor.[p]Way to go RRP! It looks like you will be their target again next year.[p]Smoke Diver

Thanks Rick! Since our two small communities have a rivalry and I heard some teams were gunning for me I had this t-shirt made with the bulls-eye. The Eggscited theme was to cover having a mini, small and medium with me. The check was was $1,000 so along with winning another large BGE it made the trip worthwhile. VIVA BGE!!!

I told him it would be about an 8 hour round trip, not including cocktails and dinner, so he dropped the request.
