I Am Amazed

Friday I used my egg for a 20 1/2 hr cook on a pork butt--Sunday I did a 6 hr cook on ribs. Both came out excellent, but that wasn't what amazed me. What amazed me was I did both cooks on the charcoal I originally put in for the pork butt and never added any more. That's well over 26 hrs of cooking and there is still lump left-I did use my coat hanger ash took on occasion.

BillB,[p]Its funny you mention that. I had diner with a friend last night. I finally got him using lunp on his webber. He asked me how long it should lasts. I explained that he should close his grill and the remaining lump will go out. The webber just isn't as air efficient as an egg, and his lump just keep burning! He is planning to come to Eggtoberfest and considering an egg![p]Smokey
