Egg in lieu of oven for haddock

Found haddock at the grocery for $2.99/lb today - can't resist this. Started to fix it as usual, but decided to egg it instead using the same method. Turned out terrific. Extremely simple - I like to taste the fish, so seasinings are fairly minimal. Soaked fish in milk for about an hour. Doused it in olive oil and seasonings (garlic, garlic, and garlic). Put it on egg at about 300 for 10 minutes. Then put a bread crumb and parmesan cheese (fresh grated) mixture on top and cooked it about 10 minutes longer. I was impressed as usual. Bye bye oven!!

I do freelance editing and just reread my post and saw a typo - it's seasoning not seasining. How humiliating :-][p]

Janet, boy! If that's humiliating to you, wonder how Char-Woody feels. :-)) We have had some incredible typos in our forum but I'm afraid your 'seasining' would not even rank among the rank. However, your fish sounds delicious and that's the most important thing about your posting. Its looks fairly simple and quick and those are the recipes I really like. Good grilling to you. And post more of those fish recipes.

    Janet,
Don't even THINK about apologizing for the typo. I hold the all-time record for posting the most comment-provoking typo ever submitted. I committed this faux pas on one of my very first notes to the forum, and I nearly quit from embarrassment. Fortunately for me, my composure eventually returned and I continue to benefit from these fine folks' eggspertise.[p]Your fish recipe sounds awesome. I love all kinds of fish prepared many different ways, and the BGE always enhances the recipe.[p]Cheers,
Gretl (the undisputed queen of typos)

Gretl,[p]Didn't that typo have something to do with the chimney on the Egg?[p]That was funny,

    Jethro,
You got it. A chimney and a bodily function. Unfortunate mistake.
