Transport

Does anyone have any tips on how to transport a BGE. I have the large BGE with a nest. I want to try some competitions for fun and I want to use my egg. I have a truck, and lifting will not be a problem. I have thought about making some sort of box that the egg would sit in.

HOSS450,[p]I have a medium and I plan on buying foam or something at Home depot and then wrap and tape cardboard around it.
Thow it in the back seat after taht.[p]Also if you take the insides out, it cuts down on the wieght of the big guy. wrap all the inside ceramic in newspaper

toomsdpt,[p] Don't go over Rail R9oad tracks at 40 MPH.. My eggs made the trip to Danville in the trailer. All the parts were inside the appropriate egg. [p] I just make sure they are secure and I am not doing a Nash Bridges act driving down the road..
