Butt help/question

Smoking Jacket
Posts: 86
Planning on cooking my second butt this weekend. I was asked to bring a butt to a family gathering out of town on Sunday. Saturday evening I have plans and will not be able to be cooking after 3:30/4:00. If I put the butt on the egg tonight at 9:00 (its a 7lb'er) it should be close to ready around between 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. What should I do with the butt between pulling it Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon? Should I go a head and pull it? Leave it whole until Sunday? Wrap it and put it in a cooler? Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your expert opinions.

Smoking Jacket,
My suggestion is to pull it, let it cool down and then vacu seal it. Throw a bit of rub on it when you put it in the bag. If you do not have a vac seal, put it in some ziplock bags. You can reheat a few different ways, drop the vacu seal bag in boiling water for a bit or microwave it, or you can put it in a crock pot with a little vinegar BBQ sauce for moisture and let it heat slowly.
