while nature boy and the dizzy crew will be joining celtic wolf down in danville, and the virginian and his daughter will be competing at the new landover maryland competition, the spawn and i will be carrying bge banner down in chesapeake virginia, operating and competing as "mad max and the spawn" this weekend ...so if anyone is down in the virginia tidewater area this weekend, stop on by. .we'll be there around noon on friday, through saturday evening. .. and the chesapeake jubilee is a great overall event, besides just the competiton. ...can't wait to see the temptations on friday night :-)

thanks wally[p]out of desperation i called one of the competitors down there who is also a vendor and asked her if i could buy a couple of briskets off of her, and so thats what i'm doing. ...i know she gets good IBP stuff, so i'll be ok. ..[p]for the landover comp. brett went all the way to mt. airy to buy his briskets. ...

mad max beyond eggdome,[p]At Waldorf someone mentioned Bullocks (I think) up near Highland MD - and basically on the western edge of Columbia. I haven't looked into it yet but its certainly closer than Mt Airy.[p]Have you been able to get in touch with Roy to find out what's happening with them?
