Was in the mood for a huge tossed salad after work and on my way home remembered I had no veggies except romaine lettuce.I used leftover grilled pineapple,pears,and apple and tossed it together with a rasberry walnut vinagrette and evoo.Tasted great.

    sounds good how did you do the apples? i have grilled mango, pineapple, and peaches, they have all turned out great i never thought of grilling apples. which kind of apple grills best?

    The apples were golden delicious mixed in one cup of brown sugar with the other fruit.Dumped into a bowel then drizzled honey over the top,fold over and add more honey,kept in frige for one hour.Then off to Eggland.

    Hope it turns out well for you.Most apples should be ok,just dont use the ones that are dead ripe.They tend to be soft and might fall apart when you take them off of the skewer.

    I was ready to go at 7am Saturday and had a muscle problem in my lower back.I would sit down and could not get up.Man I was pis--- off big time.I did attend 2004 and 2005 snd purchased a large on each visit.I sure did want to mix it up with all of you and get to meet you in person.Next year for sure and we can swap Mastiff tales and do some cooking.
