First attempt at corn

Buster Dog BBQ
Posts: 1,366
Made corn in the husk on the large tonight. Soaked in water for an hour or so then cooked in the husk for about 40-45 min at 375-400. Corn tasted great. I guess you have to love Iowa for something.[p]

Buster Dog BBQ,
Is that kind of early for Iowa corn? Man, if not, I would love some.[p]Mike

Car Wash Mike,
Yeah. maybe a little early. You really need to wait until Autgust to get really good Iowa sweet corn.[p]I tell you what. I heard you are maybe in for Omaha's eggfest. I will bring some over. About two weeks before that is the Adel sweet corn festival. All you can eat sweet corn at no charge.

Buster Dog BBQ,
I'm not in for Omaha a little, a lot! LOL Bring some of that corn down, we will soak it in cold water, cook and dress with Raging River and Butter.
Chubby promised me tonight he would make it. The guy deserves appearances fees.[p]Mike
