skinning membrane,
Here's the place I learned about it:[p]http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/2002/01/pork-spare-ribs-preparing.html

skinning membrane,
I take the handle end of a spoon or fork and work it between the bones under the membrane. Once you get it started, if you'll grab hold with a paper towel and pull it comes of fairly easily.

skinning membrane,[p]What they said...[p]It is a big help for me to bend the rib rack back onto the meat side - this seems to loosen up the membrane so that it releases from the bones easier...[p]
-
skinning membrane,[p]I am probably one of few that don't remove the membrane. (Nor do I remove the top part).[p]It's just the way I like them though.[p]-Charlie

skinning membrane,[p]Use a piece of paper taowel and grab the corner and just pull it off.
-
skinning membrane,
All of the methods mentioned will work. I use a fish skinner. They work great; and makes quick work; which I like.
