Achiote marinade (Annatto marinade) for pork.....

Just wondering if anyone has tried using Achiote paste marinade for pork, as seen on a recent viewing of the Rick Bayless Mexican show 'One plate at a time'. It is sold in a 3.5 ounce 'brick' and contains annatto seed, salt, spices, and garlic. (Available at your local WallyWorld, in the Mexican aisle, for about .75 cents...) The instructions say to dilute paste with vinegar or olive oil, then marinade as usual. Enough for 6.6 pounds of meat. Im going to try it Sunday on a pork butt and any tips would be much appreciated...............Eggcitable Boy
