barbqr, All this needs is some fattie meat on it. We were all out so it was plain but tasty![p]Aloha,[p]Greg

guava greg,
is that Spam and egg? the breakfast of champions. Hawaiian style...

barbqr,[p]Ken ... smoked fattie, a lil' Herkimer cheese, a lil' good mustard, a cold beer ... what's not to like? This particular one is a roll of my homemade breakfast sausage. Do 3-4 of them while yer at it ... they disappear fast.

barbqr, if you're going to do these at a fest in a couple of weeks, you better practice a few times at home. In fact once you practice once, I think you willw ant to practice again. I love the fattie slices for breakfast on a biscuit or a bagel but might have to try it for dinner one night as well.

barbqr,
Fatties! They're not just for breakfast anymore.[p]As I may have said elsewhere, when I'm having a party I roll mine out a bit. A slice of "full-sized" fatty is a bit much for finger food. I roll them to the size of a silver dollar, reduce the cooking time a bit, and serve them sliced with cheeses. An inexpensive but tasty hors d'oeuvre! For a breakfast biscuit or chopped up in chili or eggs, I just leave them as they come out of the pack.[p]I had a couple of friends drop by, and I served beer and snacks. I didn't tell them what the fatties were and they thought it was some fancy imported sausage link. The husband ended up eating an entire fatty!! When I told him he had eaten an entire pack of Jimmy Dean sausage he blanched a bit, his wife smacked him with a sofa cushion, then he asked when I was making more.
