OT -Northern CAL Drive

Daughter is graduating in Seattle and we are going to take a week's vacation in the San Francisco Bay area. Debating on whether to drive or fly to SF.

So here's the question - Is the 800 mile drive from Seattle to SF especially enjoyable with alot of cool sights to see and things to do, or should we take a flight and maximize our time in the Bay area?

Already scheming to see if I can swing Eggs by the Bay while there.
