Stocking the Freezer

I cooked a pair of butts last weekend to refresh the freezer stock. On the left is the injected experiment. I got a yeild of about 3.5 lbs (guess) out of the 7 lb butt. I took about 1/2 and sampled it at the bar to rave reviews. The injection mistake will no longer be called a mistake. It's now my "secret" injection for "sweet" style PP.[p]On the right is the Dizzy Dust and Ragin' River rubbed one. It was great too, but I wanted a good stock for the freezer so it only got lightly sampled. I got a yeild of a litle over 3 lbs from the 6 lb 10oz butt. Put up 3 lbs exactly and ate the rest.     Did you inject right before putting on the Egg or the night before?

    SouthOfI10,[p]Just saw this. I injected 8 hours before cooking.
