Wife went to the fish store and picked up a couple of nice pieces of scrod, I'm in the mood for egging, so I'm looking for any suggestions for egging scrod. (For those who don't know what scrod is, it's young cod or haddock) Thanks.

    TOROLNSTND,
Try making a paste with lime juice, mustard, your favorite fish rub (or cajun seasoning), and plenty of peanut oil....and maybe some fresh ginger and or garlic. Slather them down, and fire your cooker to an established 400-450. Grill direct 3-5 minutes a side. Use a fish basket if you are not comfortable flipping on the grate. If you use plenty of oil, and only flip once, they can be done right on the grate.[p]Another stitch in time.
